An Exceptional Community
Our students carry their STE experiences with them through the rest of their lives, so we cultivate an outstanding learning environment through exceptional academics, fine arts, and athletics. As a private, K through 12 college preparatory school founded on Christian values, we believe in nurturing our students through classical instruction.
As a college preparatory school, STE promotes personal and academic excellence in each of our students. Our diverse student body benefits from personalized attention and a variety of class offerings — helping build a strong foundation for a successful future.
STE Saints develop leadership skills both on and off the field. We hold our student athletes to our team values of character, commitment, and community.
K-12 schools offer a unique sense of community and academic benefits that other schools cannot. The connections, mentorship, and support our students make during their time a STE endure from their first day on campus to their last.
The arts are an important part of the STE experience. From Kindergarten onward, creativity is nurtured and explored through arts that extend from our Scottish Arts program to visual art, our theatre program to choir and orchestra.
At STE, we pride ourselves in having a close-knit and supportive community. We provide parents with numerous opportunities to be engaged in the life of the school, no matter if they have a student in kindergarten or 12th grade. Three moms of current STE students share why they chose STE for their family and how their children have thrived at our school.
The Scottish Arts program has been at the core of the STE identity since the late 1950s. Created by the school’s founder because of the tradition, discipline, and prestige of the pipe bands of the British Army, the Scottish Arts program continues to instill those values in its students today. The Pipe Band immerses our students in Scottish piping and drumming. In addition to taking Highland Dance in our lower grades, students may take after-school dance instruction to prepare for competitions at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
Since 1955, Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School has formed honorable men and women through a classical education grounded in a Christ-centered worldview.
