Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School offers Upper School students a challenging liberal arts curriculum that embraces a detailed treatment of mathematics, languages, history, science, and religion.

We offer 22 Advanced Placement (AP) courses beginning in the sophomore year; students with the most rigorous course schedules could take between six and 10 AP courses during their Upper School career. Electives include:

Tim Wainright

Tim Wainright

Head of Upper School

Tim brings 16 years of school leadership experience and 12 years as a teacher to his current role. He hold a Master's Degree from the University of Houston and is passionate about education and personal development.

In his free time, Tim enjoys reading and listening to podcasts. He finds STE to be an incredible place, particularly valuing the potential ministry platform it offers to PK–12th grade students and their families. Tim is proud to be a leader within such a supportive and purpose-driven community.
