Scouting at STE
The school has Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops for various grades, depending on student and parent interest.
Cub Scout Pack 1226
For boys in the first through fifth grades, the Pack is made up of various cub scout dens. The dens are comprised of approximately six to eight boys, usually at the same grade level, and their leader. The pack is currently limited to one den each for Tigers (1st grade), Wolves (2nd grade), Bears (3rd graves, Webelos I (4th grade), and Webelos II (5th grade).
The Pack meets once a month, usually on the second Friday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
Boy Scout Troop 1226
The school sponsors Boy Scout Troop 1226 for boys 11 years and older. The troop meets most Friday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and has a regular program of service, advancement, and camping activities. In September 2010, Troop 1226 advanced two of its members to the rank of Eagle Scout. The Troop 1226 Eagles are Ryan Herrscher and Joey Lewman.
Girl Scouts
The school sponsors a Girl Scout Troop for girls in ninth through twelfth grades. The troop's mission is to help girls grow with courage, confidence, and character. Meetings are called as needed.
