Required Reading Program
In addition to our regular literature readings, all upper school students must read a different set of three novels each year. These readings increase the students' experience with different authors, subject matter, and styles, as well as improve their reading comprehension and efficiency. Recent required reading selections have included: The Count of Monte Christo, Seven Years a Slave, Wuthering Heights, Great Expectations, and The Last of the Mohicans.
The required reading books for the 2011-12 school year are Quo Vadis and Dracula.
