Early Childhood Learning Program
General Information
Designed for children ages 3 through 4 years, the St. Thomas' Episcopal Early Childhood Learning program is an open-style classroom with learning centers and play areas for the children to engage in age-appropriate activities. Students are introduced to basic academics such as; letter recognition, letter sounds, colors, shapes, numbers, and handwriting. The program, featuring two teachers with a class size limited to 17 children, provides both individualized and guided learning through the use of activity centers and a classroom computer. Story time, playground recess, library, music and movement, and quiet time help to complete the busy and fun-filled day. Fall 2012 Registration will open to the community on Monday, February 6, 2012.
