Third Times A Charm!

The St. Thomas Episcopal varsity boys claimed their third consecutive TAPPS 3A cross country title at the state meet in Waco on Saturday October 22. The cross country team under the leadership of coach Bret Ramsey had to overcome illness and injury to bring home the victory. It was a hard-fought victory with help from last year’s state champion, Andrew Hawk, now a junior. Hawk suffered a mild stroke in late September, and after sitting out for three weeks, was cleared to resume training only two days prior to the meet. Top finishers include seniors Marc Liu and Matthew Hawk, and sophomore Andrew Calvert. Andrew Hawk finished in 13thplace overall.  Click the link to read more: http://www.chron.com/default/article/Cross-country-Liu-Hawks-lead-STE-to-title-2235986.php
