STE Takes Top Honors in TAPPS District Arts and Academics

STE won the 2011 TAPPS 3A District 4 Academic competition and placed second in the Art competition. STE students swept the top three places in science, advanced math, and calculator, and took first place honors in ready writing, current events & issues, literary criticism, and mathematics events. Thirteen STE scholars will advance to the State academic competition. STE will send ten artists to the State art competition, including students who placed first in color drawing, applied design, painting, pottery, and photography at district.
