Cross Country State Champs!

The STE boys’ and girls’ varsity cross country teams swept the TAPPS Division 3A State Championships on October 16, 2010, claiming both state champion titles. This is the second straight year for that the boys' team to win state. Sophomore Andrew Hawk was the individual state champion for the boys. The boys finished in four of the top five spots and claimed seven places in the top eleven places, defeating 16 other teams. The following STE runners were named to the All-State Academic team: seniors Andrew Coulter, Claire Coulter, and Christine McGough; juniors Matthew Hawk, Meera Iyengar, and Marc Liu; and sophomore Andrew Hawk.
