Building on a Firm Foundation
Kindergarten at Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School is the first step toward a well-rounded, classical education with Christian values.
With small class sizes, personalized attention and stimulating instruction, we ensure children are well-prepared for lower school — academically, mentally and emotionally.
Class begins each day with a worship service, where students memorize selected Bible verses, sing hymns of praise and listen to a Bible story before moving into their daily curriculum.
The coursework is focused on the study and practical application of phonetics-based reading instruction, mathematics, spelling, handwriting, science and history, as well as character building exercises.
Children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1 of the academic year.
