Welcome to our website! I hope your virtual visit gives you an idea about who we are — a vibrant, joyful community of students, teachers, and parents working together to provide the best classical Christian education.
In 1955, The Reverend T. Robert Ingram founded Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School with the belief that an education that excludes God was no education at all. Since then, generations of families have trusted us to educate their children.
Having experienced this community as a student, alumnus, faculty member, parent and now headmaster, I believe the values expressed in our mission statement — forming honorable men and women in a classical education grounded in a Christ-centered world view — are needed more than ever in the lives of young people.
Our challenging curriculum and dedicated teachers help our students mature and hone necessary life skills to give them every opportunity for success. We also offer many extracurricular activities, such as sports, theatre, academic teams, choral music, orchestra, pipe band and highland dance to enhance personal development, growth and enjoyment.
Our graduates thrive at the best colleges and universities in the country, and many earn college credit from the courses completed here, saving time and money later. We often hear from our graduates that they are thankful for the self-discipline and study habits learned here, making the transition to higher education easier. We are proud to prepare students for a bright future.
I hope you enjoy your virtual visit, and I look forward to meeting you in person.
