Student Life
The Upper School Honor Council is made up of eight members: four seniors and four juniors.
The Headmaster and upper school teachers nominate junior students at the beginning of each year. Upper school students then vote on the list of nominees. Elected juniors serve for 2 years.
The Honor Council has two purposes:
The Council reviews and judges any case that comes before it concerning violations of the school's Honor Code.
Recommendations for action are made to the Headmaster, where final appeal rests.
The Honor Council discusses the Honor System at the beginning of the year at a student assembly, and at other appropriate times.
