In the process of producing a yearbook for all students kindergarten and up, high school students learn the fundamentals of journalism and modern digital publishing and graphics techniques. We emphasize careful layout, good writing, and substantive photography, for a yearbook that has enduring content as well as award-winning design. Yearbook editors gain practical experience, an invaluable edge for college admission and beyond.
The STE won the prestigious Gold Crown Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press for its 2005 and 2006 yearbooks. The Belltower is also a perenial winner of the district and state TAPPS yearbook competitions.
