Theatre is open to students in ninth through twelfth grades. The program consists of two separate classes directed at different student levels. These are academic courses, stressing preparation, application, and a thorough knowledge of the subject. They provide an opportunity for students to learn the skills of critical analysis and communication that are so vital to the information age.
This class provides students with an introduction to acting and theatre. It develops skills for breathing, movement, and voice that actors need. It also encompasses a review of theatre history.
Play Production is an extracurricular activity open to anyone
and is sponsored by the Theatre Department and the Thespian
Club.
