Our initial focus in computer science is on teaching practical skills and software that will be of immediate use in high school and college. For those with the interest and aptitude, we also provide instruction in more advanced topics. Most colleges now require at least one year of computer science for admission.

Java Programming
This is an advanced placement course for students who are interested in taking the AP exam and learning to program using the Java programming language.

Prerequisite: Computer Science I

Computer Science I
This is an elective survey course for students in ninth through twelfth grades. It introduces many aspects of computer science including: logic; number systems; data representation; and programming methodology using both Scheme and introductory Java. No programming experience is required. It is a lecture class with some lab work.
