Seventh Grade
Seventh grade students study the Western Hemisphere. The course starts by defining geography, exploring changes both inside the earth and on its surface, explaining human geography, and addressing the impact of political and economic systems. During the remainder of the course, students study the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Students have the opportunity to explore certain regions or geographic issues through short writing assignments designed to examine a particular issue or topic in greater detail.

Eighth Grade
Eighth grade students study the Eastern Hemisphere. The course covers the following regions: Western Europe,the Caucusus, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Students have the opportunity to explore certain regions or geographic issues through short writing assignments designed to examine a particular issue or topic in greater detail.
